We're a strength training facility based in Vancouver, BC, and we operate under Canadian privacy laws (PIPEDA, for those who care about acronyms). Bottom line? We only collect what we need to run the gym and serve you better.

Personal Details

When you sign up for membership or book a session, we'll need the usual suspects: name, email, phone number, address, date of birth. We also collect emergency contact info - because safety first, always.

Health & Fitness Data

Here's where it gets specific to what we do. We might collect injury history, fitness goals, training experience, body composition metrics, and progress photos (only if you opt in). This stuff helps us design programs that won't wreck you and actually move the needle on your gains.

Payment Information

Credit card details, billing address, membership tier info. We use secure payment processors - we don't store full card numbers on our systems.

Usage Data

Check-in times, class attendance, equipment usage, website browsing patterns. Helps us figure out when we need more squat racks and what programs people actually want.

We're not in the business of selling your data or spamming you with junk. Here's what we actually do with your info:

  • Improve our services: Analyze what's working and what's not, adjust programming based on feedback
  • Marketing: Occasionally send info about new programs or special offers (you can opt out anytime)

We won't share your personal training data or health info with anyone outside our coaching staff without explicit permission. Your numbers are your business.

Your data's stored on secure servers in Canada - we keep it local. We use industry-standard encryption and security measures, though let's be real, nothing's 100% bulletproof.

How long we keep stuff:

  • Active member data: For the duration of your membership plus 2 years
  • Financial records: 7 years (tax law requirement, not our choice)
  • Health & training data: Until you request deletion or 3 years after membership ends
  • Marketing data: Until you unsubscribe

After that, we either delete it or anonymize it for basic stats. We're not hoarders.

For major changes that affect how we use your data, we'll send you a heads-up email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. You'll have the option to review and decide if you're cool with it.

If you keep using our services after the update goes live, we'll take that as acceptance. If you're not down with the changes, you can cancel your membership with no penalty during that 30-day window.
